Respiratory Support - Hospital Treatment


Administer oxygen supplementation to maintain oxygen saturation more than 92% and titrate down as needs decrease. Chest physiotherapy may be required to ensure adequate air volume exchange and to avoid atelectasis. Bronchodilators are often required if smoke inhalation is suspected. Carry out normal chest care procedures if any underlying chest problem exists.
