On-Line Chat Sessions for Burn Survivors
One of the most usefull tools which the internet offers is the "Chat Room".
This allows individuals to meet in Cyberspace and type messages to each other in real time.
You do not need any special software. If you can use Netscape or Explorer, you can join our chat.
The burn survivor chats will be held on the first Sunday of each month beginning at 9:00 p.m. Eastern Time, 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time. We expect that they will last for approximately 1 hour.
If this is not a convenient time for you, please e-mail us and we will try to set up an alternative time as well.
To join the chat:
1. Go to: http://chat.acmeweb.com
2. Go to Nuchat lite
3. Go down to unlisted conference.
4. Press go.
5. Enter your handle (or make one up) and under that the name of the room you wish to enter. In this case, the name of the room is "Survivors". Make sure that you spell it exactly as it appears, because "Survivors" is not "survivors" if you know what I mean.
6. Then press enter
7. Go down to "Enter the text to post________" and type in our message.
8. Then press chat.
It is that simple. Please join us.
